Why Christian Care

The Mission Statement of CCC consists of two elements:

1. To provide help to the needy people of Sri Lanka with a special focus on orphans and widows

2. To tell people by means of this help about the Gospel.

We should not only help people for this life but also for their eternal life. If we only take care of their bodily needs and not for their soul we keep the most important thing away.

We are not in a position to convert people because this is the work of the Holy Spirit. However, we can tell people about the Gospel, we can bring them in contact with the Word of God. And we can pray that the Lord will bless this work.
